Nepal is an amazing country. This country is truly awe-inspiring and totally diverse. Before my trip, I only thought of Nepal as a place for visiting the Himalayas and Kathmandu. Yes these two are amazing. But there are more amazing destinations in Nepal than its mountainous areas. My visit to Nepal was my life's dream. Every journey you take will have the most amazing (and friendly) people, delicious food and a number of good sights and attractions.
01. Places to visit in Pokhara
The Mahendra Cave has limestone stalactites and stalagmitites. The cave has an unusual character due to this limestone formation that has grown over a long period of time and has produced beautiful forms together in the process.
Local people believe the shapes represented various religious gods and that the cave is sacred. 05. Davis Falls – An Attraction With History
Davis Falls is an important natural waterfall in Nepal that is situated in Pokhara, in the Kaski region. When the river is continually hitting the bottom of the waterfall, the water that passes by the Davis Falls becomes the underground tunnel.
The tunnel is approximately 150 m wide and is 30 metres high at depth. The Swiss couple Davi went out for a swimming trip at the end of June 1961. The woman buried herself in the pit due to the leaking water which became known today as Davis Falls.
